Behaviour In School

At Diseworth Primary School we pride ourselves with the excellent behaviour that our children display, their positive attitude to their learning as well as developing as caring and compassionate young individuals.

As a school we feel it is important to promote a safe, caring and supportive environment to enable all members of the school community to feel secure, respected and therefore promote good behaviour in others. Our children are encouraged to value the Christian ethos of our school and to respect the ever changing diversity of our community and other cultures.

The development of personal qualities and social skills and the fostering of socially acceptable behaviour are an integral aspect of the school curriculum. Our Christian values and Behaviour Policy reflect these sentiments. We aim to develop the moral, social, cultural and spiritual as well as the academic education of our children.

Our 3 Rs Charter underpins our commitment to nurture our children to develop into well-rounded, responsible young adults with self-discipline and tolerance for others. Our children learn successfully to:

RESPECT themselves

RESPECT each other

RESPECT their community.

There exists a mutual respect between adults and children fostering healthy, positive relationships within the whole school community. There are consistent, clear expectations and strategies in place to encourage our children to take responsibility for their own behaviour and attitudes.
