Welcome to Diseworth C of E Primary School
Diseworth is a small, rural school near East Midlands Airport, where every child is known, valued, and encouraged to shine. Guided by our Christian values of compassion, courage, kindness, truthfulness, community, and endurance, we live out our vision of “Let your light shine” (Matthew 5:16).
We offer a nurturing environment where children grow into confident, independent, and resilient learners, ready for the next stage of their education. With personalised teaching in mixed-age classes, a broad and inspiring curriculum, and opportunities such as weekly swimming, sports coaching, music lessons, and outdoor learning, our pupils develop both skills and character.

Our Sports day was a great success. Well done everyone! Staff, parents and pupils were all amazing!
Amazing news about the money raised at our school fete
We are pleased to announce that we raised a whooping £2210 at our recent Summer fet. Thank you to all FODs and staff members for making the event so successful. We will be spending the money on Ipads to enhance our Computing provision.
Space Centre Sleepover
Year 2 to 6 pupils had a wonderful time at our sleepover at the National Space Centre on Friday 16th May. Everyone learnt a lot of new space facts and there were smiles on everyones' faces. Thank you to all staff who heped out.
We are now a Lead Music Music School for Leicestershire Schools Music Service
After a thorough application and interview process we are celebrating that our school is now a Lead Music school for Leicestershire Schools Music Service. This means we will be showcasing the music curriculum within our school and supporting schools across the county and city to enshance their curriculum provision and raise standards in Music.Well done to all staff and pupils!
